Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Wordbox, operated by Astroshock SL, uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use an application. They are used to ensure core functionality and, with your consent, to collect usage statistics.

This policy also covers similar technologies we use for the same purposes — in particular local storage, which lets the application keep a small amount of data on your device between visits. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means these technologies together.

2. How we use cookies

Wordbox uses cookies for the following purposes:

a) Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

They are used for:

  • User authentication and session management
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Remembering basic preferences related to service operation

Some of this data is kept in local storage rather than in cookies — for example your settings and content cached for offline use. It is required for the application to work and cannot be disabled.

These cookies do not require user consent.

b) Analytics cookies

With your consent, Wordbox uses Google Analytics to understand how the service is used and to improve product quality.

With the same consent we also load Rewardful — the platform that runs our partner programme. Its script counts visits arriving through a partner’s link, so that partners can see their own traffic. It is not loaded at all unless you accept analytics cookies, and never in our mobile applications.

Analytics cookies may collect information such as:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent in the app or website
  • General device and browser information

Google Analytics cookies are not loaded unless you explicitly consent.

You can learn more about Google’s data practices here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

c) Referral information

If you arrive through a partner’s referral link, or open another user’s public page, we store a small record of that on your device: the partner’s link code or the referring user, and the date. It lets us credit the right partner if you decide to subscribe later, and it is kept for at most 90 days.

This record is stored only if you accept analytics cookies. Without your consent it exists only until the page is reloaded or closed, and is never written to your device. Withdrawing your consent deletes it.

This particular record is created and read by Wordbox itself, and no third party is involved in storing it.

3. Third-party authentication

Wordbox allows users to sign in using:

  • Apple (“Sign in with Apple”)
  • Google (“Sign in with Google”)

These providers may process personal data independently as part of the authentication process. Wordbox does not control the cookies or technologies used by these providers during sign-in.

4. Managing your consent

When you first use Wordbox, you can choose whether to allow analytics cookies.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time via .

Your choice is stored in this browser. If you use Wordbox in another browser or on another device, you will be asked again.
