FAQ

• How are referrals tracked?

  Every affiliate gets a unique referral link. When someone clicks it, the referral is recorded for 90 days, counted from the first referral we recorded for that visitor; if they subscribe within that time, the commission is yours. The window does not restart if they click again.

  Tracking is not perfect and we would rather say so: it can be lost if the visitor blocks tracking or clears their browser data, if they open your link on one device and subscribe on another, or if they already have the mobile app installed and the link opens directly in it. This is why your discount code matters — a code entered at checkout is credited to you regardless of what happened in the browser.

• How is my commission calculated?

  Your commission is 30% of what the customer actually pays, after their discount.

  For example: on a €10 monthly subscription, a first payment with your 20% discount is €8, so your commission is €2.40. Renewals within the first 12 months are at the full €10, so your commission is €3.00 each.

• Do referrals work with both my link and discount code?

  Yes — a customer can subscribe through your referral link or by entering your discount code. Arriving through your link fills your code in for them at the checkout, and it is the code used at payment that credits the referral to you.

• How do I get paid?

  Commissions become payable 30 days after the customer’s payment, and payouts are made monthly via PayPal or bank transfer once your payable balance reaches €50.

• What if a customer cancels or gets a refund?

  Commissions are earned on payments we actually keep. If a customer is refunded or their bank reverses a payment, the commission for that payment is reversed too — and if it had already been paid to you, it is deducted from a later payout. A customer who simply cancels keeps whatever they have already paid for, so commissions already earned on their past payments are unaffected; you just stop earning on future renewals.

• What if I already partner with another language-learning product?

  Different apps solve different problems. Wordbox helps people collect, understand, and remember the words they discover in real life—regardless of the language or where those words come from.

• Do I need to be a Wordbox customer?

  No. However, we strongly recommend trying Wordbox before promoting it so you can create authentic and helpful content for your audience.

• Can I promote Wordbox anywhere?

  You can promote Wordbox on websites, blogs, YouTube, social media, newsletters, podcasts, and other channels, provided you follow our Affiliate Terms & Conditions and applicable advertising disclosure laws.

• What promotional methods aren’t allowed?

  To protect our brand and ensure fair competition, affiliates may not:

  • Bid on the Wordbox brand name or related keywords in search advertising.
  • Impersonate Wordbox or pretend to represent the company.
  • Send spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Use misleading or false claims about Wordbox.
  • Publish content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.

  We reserve the right to suspend or terminate affiliate accounts that violate these rules.
